THE INSOLVENCY ACT 1986
SIMPLY COMMUNICATIONS UK LIMITED - IN LIQUIDATION

LIQUIDATION UPDATE - April 2011
I obtained approval from the sheriff at Aberdeen to provide all updates regarding the liquidation process on www.simply3g.co.uk. Updates are posted on the website such that the approximate two thousand former Simply Communications customers can receive information in a timely manner.

Asset realisation
The receipts and payments account for the whole period of the liquidation can be accessed from this site (see below)

Final Meeting
The notice calling the final meeting can be viewed here.

Dividend payment
Funds under my control are sufficient to permit a second and final dividend to unsecured creditors of about 1.87p in the £. I anticipate that the dividend should be released in early April 2011. Given the number of creditors, almost 1,800 claims received from customers, I propose to stagger the dividend payment such that all creditors will receive a cheque no later than 11 April 2011. Please be patient during this process.

A copy of the schedule listing all claims and the dividend amounts can be viewed here.

Moved house since lodging your claim?
As a result of the mailing process of dividend cheques, a number of cheques have been returned or are now out of date. Click here to view the list of cheques returned/out of date. If your name appears on the list, please contact Lena Wood at Meston Reid & Co, 12 Carden Place, Aberdeen, AB10 1UR telephone number 01224 625554 (woodl@mestonreid.com) in order that your address details can be updated and a replacement cheque sent to you. It is your money so please contact this office. If you don’t, the money will be consigned in a bank account and it will become expensive to uplift such monies and route the dividend to you once the liquidation has concluded.

Please note: the list of cheques returned is in Microsoft Excel format. If you do not own Microsoft Excel a viewer can be downloaded directly from Microsoft by clicking the following link

Conclusion
Once all administrative tasks have been finalised, I will seek my discharge as liquidator.

Yours faithfully

Michael J M Reid
